If they can be used with generic hardware, I'm very interested. I just managed to build an interface and get it working so I can proceed with decrypting all the messages for my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. I'm convinced that there is a software solution to fixing the fast flash I have from switching to LED bulbs. being able to change some of the settings in my 730N using starscan or witech would let me stay on track rather than having to break off to try and get that done. Don't the witech products require the wipod though? If I had known what it was at the time, I certainly wouldn't have admitted to finding it in my vehicle after a service visit...
You will not be able to communicate with witech unless you are using their pod no other comm. module will work. You have one other possibility with trying to use a vector pod vector equipment is by far the best equipment you can buy!!! I know most of the big 3 manufacturers engineers use vector equipment and software. i see this blog is not active but im a mechanic in tucson,,,just bought a starmobile and im in need of any and all software i can get....especially cda and efd.eng. gateway config. or calibration files

ReplyDeleteI need the starmobile update ver 12 I believe. I do not want the one that hamstrung it to work with the witech system.
